- Roest en aanslag op carrosserie of onderstel: Voor het wegwerken van oppervlakkige roest, lasspatten of aankoeksel op staalplaat zijn deze banden een goede keuze. De fijne uitvoering geeft iets meer controle dan grove varianten en laat minder diepe krassen achter op het metaal.
- Voorbewerking voor primer of lak: Wie een stalen onderdeel wil schoonmaken en opruwen voor een nieuwe laag primer of coating, kan met deze banden snel een egaal, schoon oppervlak krijgen. Werk systematisch en houd de machine in beweging om plaatselijke oververhitting te voorkomen.
- Minder geschikt voor aluminium, kunststof of gelakte vlakken: RVS borstels zijn agressief genoeg om zachte metalen en kunststof te beschadigen en lak direct te vernielen.
