2K Etching Washprimer

MIPA 2K Wash Primer is a powerful adhesive primer with an etching effect. This 2-component wash primer provides fantastic adhesion to aluminum, anodised aluminum, metal and galvanized surfaces. In addition, the MIPA 2K Aktivprimer has an active corrosion protection which prevents rust formation! After drying, the MIPA 2K Wash Primer can be sprayed with any base coat or 2K car paint.

Paintable with 1K & 2K paints

MIPA 2K Wash Primer can be resprayed after drying with all types of paint, except for Epoxy Primer! It is resprayable with both water-based and conventional car paints. When the etching primer is fully cured, it can be resprayed with a 2K Primer for extra layer thickness, a Base coat or 2K paint.

Don't forget to order the hardener

This chromate-free wash primer of MIPA is a 2-component paint. A hardener must be added to the etching primer. The mixing ratio is 2: 1. When you have 2 liters of primer, you add 1 liter of hardener.
