3M Perfect-It III Imperial Finishing Glaze designed to remove all swirls and holograms for application by hand with a soft polishing wipe or for extra efficiency by machine with a dual action sander. 09377 gives a high lustre on refinish or original paint surfaces and contains carnauba wax to provide a lasting protection to the finish provided by the Perfect it III Paint Finishing System. 09377 contains paintshop compatible silicones to ensure ease of spreading without any risk of contamination

Dit is de laatste stap in het polijstproces: een vloeibare beschermer die je gebruikt nadat de lak al glad en vrij van defecten is. Hij brengt geen slijpende werking mee, maar verzegelt de lak met een diepe, natte hoogglans. Gebruik hem dus alleen als de lakcorrectie al achter de rug is.

- Lak verzegelen na het polijsten: Heb je net een auto volledig gecorrigeerd en wil je die glans vastzetten, dan is dit de juiste afsluiter. De beschermer legt een flinterdunne laag over de lak die de hoogglans verdiept en de lak beschermt tegen vuil en weersinvloeden.
- Handmatig of machinaal aanbrengen op gelakte oppervlakken: Met een zachte poetspad of microvezeldoek breng je dit middel snel en egaal aan, zonder poetskringen of hologrammen achter te laten. Goed te doen als je netjes werkt en de lak van tevoren schoon en droog is.
- Minder geschikt voor lakcorrectie en krasverwijdering: Dit middel heeft geen slijpende werking en verwijdert geen swirls, krassen of andere lakdefecten. Voor correctiewerk heb je eerst een compound nodig, zoals de 3M Fast Cut (groene dop) voor grovere defecten of de Fine Compound (gele dop) voor lichtere swirls. Gebruik dit middel daarna als afsluitende stap.
